One night alone on the mohawk stage wasn’t enough for Angel Olsen as she played another sold out show Tuesday night debuting her new album “My Woman”
Elegant, decorative, and graceful are just a few words that describes the charming sound Angel has shared with her crowd throughout her past three albums. She opened up the show Tuesday night thanking her loyal fans and Austin’s warm, southern hospitality for their outgoing energy and love. She went on mentioning her last experience playing in Americas Music Capital at SXSW last summer and how she was constantly overwhelmed with positive feedback from everyone listening in. As a real life Angel deserves.
The night consisted of tunes from her old albums as well new. The crowd yelled along with her as she belted out notes to “Shut Up and Kiss Me” and softened up as she played her melancholy tunes like “Unfucktheworld”
Although her songs can span an emotional impact on every heart tuning in, the saddest moment of the night was her departure as she said he goodbyes and headed west to finish up on her US tour.
