The nineteen year old from Miami, Florida is full of raw, undeniable talent. The young star spent her childhood studying musical theater before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment.
On January 27, 2017, Giraldo released her first debate single, “Only Lovers” that lead to a self title ‘Lauren Giraldo’ tour. The tour is currently embarked across North America, stretching from San Francisco to New York City. On Wednesday night, JamFeed was lucky to catch the artist as she performed songs from her new upcoming album to be released later this year.
Giraldo’s voice matches her fun, outgoing personality. She approached the stage at Austin’s Stubb’s with a smilie, greeting and thanking all her beautiful fans for coming out. Before starting, she spent a few moments her undeniable love for the city of Austin; “I wasn’t sure how I felt about Texas at first, but I love it here.” She spoke about here past experience in the city of music, attending austin’s supreme festival/convention, SXSW.
The show opened with Giraldo singing her debut single as her captivated fans mouthed the lyrics, in sync. For the remainder of the show, the crowd and Girlado kept an conclusive, bright energy trailed through every ongoing string of melodies and beats.
Lauren Giraldo continues on her tour, playing another Texas date at the House of Blue in Houston February, 25th before heading up North for a show in Chicago, IL, on February 28th.
